Since 2009, we have administered and developed the corporate website of the leader on the Polish beer brewing market www.kp.pl. From the very beginning it was not only a challange, but also an honour for us to manage the site visited systematically by more than 35 000 people monthly and its press office created for the needs of Beer Brewing Bulletin aiming to organise journalists’ community. Working for the brands such as Tyskie, Żubr, Lech, Redd’s, or Pilsner Urquell was, in turn, a sheer pleasure.
We have been developing the website step by step. This is why we catered for downoladable photographs and video materials as well as corporate newsletter for the stakeholders of the company and the mass media.
After a year of collaboration we had an opportunity to build a tender management application on the kp.pl site. Kompania Piwowarska breweries had gained funding from the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development [PARP] to implement employee training programme financed by the European Union. It was to be organised by a company chosen on the basis of a bid sent by means of the tender application we constructed.

Among the corporate websites of companies from the alcohol sector, Kompania Piwowarska breweries’ site is undoubtedly the largest and the most prestigious. As a leader in its category, KP opted for lucid organisation, perfect visualisations, and intuitive navigation. Having consulted the client, we decided that the 10th anniversary application ought to be an integrated element of the website. In this way, the pieces of information available on the site found their way to the anniversary presentation. Their sequence, however, was presented by means of a separate interactive timeline.
The application for the 10th Anniversary appeared as a banner on the main page and in the main menu. 7 interactive looks into the past of the company appeared to be the best way to present the difference between the power and potential of the company in 1999 and now. The first stage of the presentation involved: production capacity, number of employees, size of the company, as well as its financial and market results. The second stage entailed 4 theme tabs devoted to: employees’ opinions on the company, comparative results, history and facts, and an interview with the head executive of the European branch of SABMiller Group
To make the application visually more attractive, we added a characteristic interactive element, namely a 3D beer-mug. The user gradually fills it in when passing through the consequent stages of the presentation, to top his beer-mug up with froth at the end: Kompania Piwowarska breweries- no. 1 in Poland!
results
Several thousand people have watched the short interactive story of Kompania Piwowarska so far. The link to the birthday tab was very well received by more than 3500 employees of KP, who appreciated the original review of the most important stages of life of their company.
Innovative technologies used for the anniversary presentation fostered the development of similar presentations on other communication portals of Kompania Piwowarska breweries.
